Definition: Low grade fibrosarcoma of ant. abd. wall. Incidence: Ø It affect most commonly the rectus muscle of adult female 6:12 months after delivery. Ø But also affect males and also other abdominal muscles less commonly affected. Pathology: Although it is not capsulated it give no metastasis. "Locally malignant". Ø It spread slowly in direction of muscles. mClinical picture Ø Slow, Painless in abd. muscles 75% below the umbilicus never in the midline. Ø When abd. muscles are contracted it become fixed. Treatment: Wide surgical excision.
