Capillary Hamangioma: q Red to blue coloured patches of varying size which blanch slowly on pressure. q Different types of capillary haemangioma are described: (1) Strawberry mark : bright red. (2) Stain of port - wine: blue - pink stain which may extend widely over the face and neck. (3) Spider naevus: In patients with liver cirrhosis. (4) Campbell de Morgan's Spots: small red spots on abdomen and chest. Previously thought that it indicate development of carcinoma, proved now to be a wrong believe. (5) Osler 's disease (Hereditary hgic telangictasis): It may affect skin & mucous membrane of G.I.T. of 20ys old patients. & may lead to unexplained anaemia. Treatment: 1- Spontaneous regression may occur. 2- X-Ray or CO2 snow over the naevus every month may give partial or complete cure.
